We have a new addition to our backyard. We had beeen throwing our veggie scraps out back on the vacant lot, with the owners permission. She did as well as we, put them in a little round area there. When the racoons began to grow as large as baby bear cubs, she thought we had bettered stop feeding them. On this lot we have deer that visit us too. We decided to purchase a compost bin It's right on our property line out back.
I'm so thrilled you got a compost bin. I compost too but mine is in an open bin. I'll have to post a picture one day.
ReplyDeleteYou'll get some great soil from this. Add some grass clippings. That really heats things up.
