It was so good to have our oldest son with us this past week. We crammed in as much fun as we could. It was mostly working, eating, laughing and talking. That's what family visits are all about. I know his family in Indiana missed him, but it was so good of them to share him with us for a little while. The only way it could have been better; would have been if they could have come too.

Look at this Cupcake!

I finally used my new cupcake pan. I had been watching this pan for a few months. I wanted it, but didn't want to pay the price. Every time I would go in Joann Fabric's I would see it in the cake decorating section. I finally used my 50% off coupon, and it was mine. I made a homemade chocolate recipe, used a chocolate icing on the bottom half, and a cream cheese icing on the top. Yum, yum my hubby did rave!! I hope some of the calories escaped as I cut it. The pan is a Wilton Pan and is nice and heavy. It has a coating on it, so the cake came out easily, but I did spray the bottom, just to make sure.

Meandering!

I'm meandering along on Marissa's quilt. It was for her birthday in September. I guess you might say I'm the late great Nana. Bless her heart she's been so patience. We will see her in June, so I think I'll be able to meet that deadline.
